Lucio Campanelli, Director
Lucio is the founder and Director of the Boston Entrepreneurship Center. At BEC Lucio designed the entrepreneurship coaching programs and nurtured the alliances with business innovation centers such as Harvard iLAb, MIT DLab, Impact HUB Boston, MIT Legatum center. Lucio's vision for BEC is to create a center to help young students and professionals to became international entrepreneurs, foster the transmission of great ideas among the global community, increase interdisciplinary collaboration, and build businesses that have a social impact worldwide. Since its foundation Lucio recruited, coordinated the inception, launch and support of over 50 business projects and 15 startups that achieved successful outcomes in less than one year. Furthermore BEC coaches became successful CEOs and CTOs in the pharmaceutical and health industry in the USA. In 2013 LUCIO was invited to be one of the founding members of Impact HUB Boston, an exclusive global community acknowledged by the United Nations for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Lucio developed a further relationship with Impact Hub to get free space for BEC students to build their startups. In 2015 Lucio was invited as a field expert in tech entrepreneurship by the Harvard Kennedy School to present BEC initiatives and vision at the symposium on Inclusive Growth at HKS. In 2016 Lucio was invited to be one of the Judge at the MIT 100K competition. Lucio is currently the CEO of INPULSE, inc. an Information technology firm based in San Francisco. He has a long experience working with Silicon Valley startups and Fortune 500 companies including HPE and VMware focusing on leadership, people management and product design. He holds a MS in Information Science from the University of Wisconsin and a BA and MS in Architecture from the University of Rome, Italy. He was an auditor and visiting student at MIT Media Lab, and hold a certificate in cognitive science from the University of Quebec, Canada. |
Alessandro Tozzi, Director of Technology Transfer (Italy)
Alessandro oversees projects technology transfer and implementation of several young startups spin off of the engineering department for the Boston Entrepreneurship Center. He manages as marketing as public relations with social organizations and academic institutions in Europe and USA for BEC. Alessandro serves as Chairman of the Sapienza Aerospace Student Association and Team Leader of the Sapienza Space Team, an engineering team working on international AIAA competitions. He also worked with the Italian National Youth Forum as representative and consultant for European youth polices and international development. Alessandro is currently pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering and Astronautics at the University of Rome “Sapienza”. |

Anthony Alagbile, Executive Coach
Tony is an organizational development consultant and an educational change advocate with experience consulting for multinational companies, school districts and non-profits both in the United States and Africa. In the last ten years, he has worked on a number of mission critical projects geared towards optimizing organizations and systems for efficient and effective functioning. His past projects range from conceptualizing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating human resource and organizational development programs to developing strategic frameworks for strengthening organizational capacity. He has a deep passion for change in Africa and is currently involved in several projects geared towards development in the region. He recently led the conceptualization and implementation of a West Africa Educational Transformation Conference held in Nigeria. As a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University he taught Entrepreneurship in the Education Marketplace. He holds a honors degree in Psychology from the Obafemi Awolowo University, a Masters' degree in Organizational Effectiveness, Development and Change from the University of Delaware. He also holds a Masters' degree in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is a Member of The American Society for Training and Development and the Society for Human Resource Management. |
Salvatore Mascia, Coach
Salvatore Mascia, PhD is the Founder & CEO of CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals. He was the former Strategic Project Manager at the Novartis-MIT Center for Continuous Manufacturing, PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK and a BS and MS in Pharmacy from University of Perugia, Italy. Salvatore co-founded “Professionisti Italiani a Boston” (PIB, www.piboston.org) in 2009, and served as President of the Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club (CUTEC, www.cutec.org) in 2006/07. |
James Guitiérrez, Coach
James has been conducting leadership trainings across various sectors for the past 15 years. He has extensive international experience with work, studies & travels in all 50 US states, over 60 countries on all 7 continents, including work with the management teams for the 2004 & 2008 Olympics. He was the Director of Operations at Verge Venture Capital, a Fulbright Scholar, and he worked in the Executive Office of the President at the White House. He holds degrees in Communication and Spanish. James is currently completing graduate degrees in both Business and Public Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University. His passions are hot air ballooning, historic texts, theater and traveling in developing countries. |
Fabrizio Filippini, Coach
Fabrizio is CEO an Co-founder of Trovare Inc, an IT startup. He gained his start-up experience while studying for his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Finance at Hult International Business School. He focused his studies on Entrepreneurship and Finance dedicated toward Entrepreneurship and acquireddirect hands-on experience managing the initial market research for the company. While at Hult, Fabrizio worked for the MIT 100K, the biggest student run business plan competition in the world.As part of the Master of Finance he fulfilled an internship requirement, where he worked for a start-up helping them to finalize its product, created contacts with possible customers and users, built and analyzed their market research, and launched a pilot project. In his previous experience, Fabrizio worked as a software engineer for embedded devices and holds a Master degree in Electronic Engineering. |

Tommaso is working as a consultant at the World Bank where he focuses on public sector reform and Monitoring & Evaluation for several projects in Africa and Eastern Europe. Previously, he also worked for several UN agencies, NGOs and research centers focusing on international development. Caleb is an advisor and a mentor at BEC. In the past two years he followed the public relations with social organizations, academic institutions, and startups in Boston. Caleb was a strategic marketing manager at Warner Music where he helped to coordinate large scale marketing and branding campaigns for several music artists. He received his BA in music from Bard College, a Master of Arts from Lesley University, and is a certified holistic health coach.

Busayo is specialized in technology implementation and deployment for organizational knowledge and development projects. He is currently an adjunct professor in Business & Technology. Previously, he worked for the World Bank as a member of the World Bank’s Africa Region Learning Team and was the founder of its Professional Associate Mentoring Program. His degrees include Information and Systems Engineering (Lehigh University) and Social-Organizational Psychology (Columbia University).

Sook is a mentor and education advisor at BEC. She is the Founder and Director of the Global Leadership Education group in Boston. She is currently a STEM educator and a Math Test Prep specialist for international professionals and college students. She has also mentored the international communities in the US and Korea for nearly ten years. Sook holds a BS in Mathematics and Education from the University of Wisconsin, and an EdM in Educational Media and Technology from Boston University. Sook also maintains a fourth degree black belt in Taekwondo,
